Things to NOT miss:

  • Summer blooming perennial beds (but the tour is 5-6 weeks early for those)
  • The structure/shape and the beds themselves outlined by the boxwoods

Favorite Plants:

  • Coneflower
  • Lavender
  • Different varieties of hydrangeas

Challenges:

  • Rocky and clay soils
  • Trying not to use pesticides
